In short

saob.no is the website of the concrete company in the Skedsmo group. The owner picked one of seven design options, and the site launched with two pillar pages and six sub pages about slabs, foundation walls, retaining walls, footings, drainage and excavation. Every form is tracked in Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads after consent, and the structured data passes Google's test with zero errors.

The starting point

Concrete work is hard to sell online. Homeowners search for slab on grade, foundation walls or drainage without knowing what the job involves or what it costs. The company had no website of its own and no way to see which pages brought in leads.

What I built

  1. Seven design options. From raw grey concrete to a homepage that shows a concrete pour in eight steps. The owner chose the version that matches the sister company, Skedsmo Entreprenør.
  2. Mobile first. The mobile homepage shows photos from the site and a tap to call button, with a new grey logo and favicon.
  3. The right service area. All copy names the area the company actually serves.
  4. An SEO structure. Two pillar pages (concrete and steel, excavation and groundwork) and six sub pages with market price ranges, a FAQ and structured data, published step by step, plus llms.txt for AI search.
  5. One quote form everywhere. The «Get a quote» button opens the same form on every page.
  6. Consent and conversion tracking. Google Analytics used to load before consent. Now a cookie banner with Consent Mode v2 controls tracking, and every submitted form counts as a Google Ads conversion.

The result

The website is live at saob.no. Google's Rich Results Test shows Organization and LocalBusiness with zero errors. The company can now see which ads and pages bring in leads, and every service has a page that answers what homeowners search for.

Questions and answers

What should a concrete contractor website include?

A page for each job (slabs, foundation walls, retaining walls, drainage), what drives the price, photos from real jobs, the towns you serve and a quote form on every page. That way both the homeowner and Google understand what you do.

Why build seven design options?

The owner wanted to see the difference before choosing. Every option was a real working page, not a picture, so he could try them on his phone.

How does the company know which ads work?

Every submitted form counts as a conversion in Google Ads and Google Analytics 4, but only after the visitor accepts cookies. That shows which keywords and pages bring leads.

What does a website like this cost?

Every project gets a fixed price in writing before we start, based on pages and features, with Google Ads setup and tracking as an option.
